Dinner For Two

This year I’m setting a table for two for Thanksgiving dinner. I’m usually with my family on a day such as today but I am grateful to be able to spend this day with my roomate who is a dear friend of mine.

If you too are having a less crowded Thanksgiving this year here is the number advice I can give you. Keep it simple, in a day that usually is about overeating and doing the most I challenge you to dial it back a little. Don’t over complicate this celebration. Focus on the people you are with and really think about all of the things that you have in your life that you can be grateful for.

I won’t deny this year has been tough on all of us. We have seen some unprecedented times and its taken a toll on us in many aspects, so today just be gentle with yourself. Take the time to recharge and refocus. Love on the people you have in your life and reach out to them in anyway you can whether that’s a zoom or text a little message goes such a long way.

What are you grateful & thankful for this thanksgiving ?
