Shades of Grey

Living my very best life in scales of grey. One of the simplest ways to put together a look is to go monochrome. It’s almost impossible to fail. Here I chose to pair this wonderfully velvety knit sweater with my favorite trifted pleated school girl skirt. This combination made for an adorably playful look perfect for saturday morning brunchs and casual strolls in the old port of montréal.

What becomes most important when assembling these types of looks is to focus on the overall silhouette and the layering of the clothing (if you choose to layer). Color becomes secondary in the land of monochrome pattern, texture and form reign.
